The total area in the Nursing Home is 3500 sq. ft. with indoor capacity of 20 beds with individual indoor patient area more than 100 sq. ft. Nusing home has four AC rooms, one suit room , conference hall for academic activity and facility of elevator. It has a pleasant ambience . This hospital has been performing joint replacements since last 16 years and spine surgery since last 21 years. The motto of the hospital is to provide the best in the treatment for EVERYTHING IN ORTHOPEDICS AND SURELY WORLD CLASS. For last 11 years hospital has been successfully providing solution for the patients having complications of treatment taken earlier elsewhere.
The reception of casualty is situated very much on the ground floor measuring 250 sq. ft. with all facilities to deal with life threatening injuries and additional operation theatre for emergencies like compound fractures etc. Emergency theatre is equipped with an X-Ray machine 300 MA with Bucky table for best quality X-RAYS for injuries of any region of body and all necessary equipments for the resuscitation.
Operation theatre complex is state of art theatre sizing 600 sq. ft. with three cut off areas and two operating rooms guarded by air curtain at its outer most door. It is equipped with IITV, vertical laminar airflow system, power drill and power instruments, anesthesia trolley, cardio scope with monitor, pulse oxymeter, triple para monitor, Hydraulic table.
Dr. Mahesh Pandya after his graduation[M.B.B.S.] in 1985, did his masters in orthopedics M.S. from M.S. University of Baroda in 1989. After that he worked in SSG general Hospital as Senior Registrar for one year. He started free lance practice in 1991. And in later part of 1991 he started Baba Orthopedic Hospital in a small premises which has groomed to a 20 bedded Baba Advanced Orthopedic Hospital.
He had visited UK as visiting surgeon in the Department of Orthopedics of University of Nottingham for Joint Replacement and Joint Reconstruction fellowship.
His area of interest has been painful degenerative conditions of knee joint and spine. In his treatment he always works for providing better, simpler, long lasting and economical solutions for such conditions of Knee and Spine [Specially Lower Back Pain]. He has done research in degenrating lumbar spine disorder. This research has revolutionised conservative treatment in lumbar spine disorder.
He has written a book on Degenerative lumbar spine Disorder and its conservative treatment published by Jaypee Publishers (ISBN NO : 9789350250020 )
He has also been performing successfully hip and knee replacement surgery and spine surgery [ surgery for back and neck]. He has been performing surgery for deformity correction and limb lengthening.
